DONG TAM JOIN STOCK COMPANY

Dong Tam Joint Stock Company (DOTACO) was granted an investment certificate by the People's Committee of Hau Giang province to build a roofing sheet factory in the Industrial - Handicraft Cluster in Vi Thanh town, Hau Giang province (now Vi Thanh ward, Can Tho city), with a capacity of 1,000,000 m2/year.

After 3 years of construction and equipment installation, in 2009, the roofing sheet factory using French technology went into operation to supply products to consumers in the Mekong Delta region.

By June 2021, FM Trading Co., Ltd. - a foreign investor invested capital in DOTACO and became a major shareholder, accounting for 70% of the Company's charter capital. Since then, DOTACO has operated with a new look, with major shareholders investing capital to upgrade technology, innovate equipment, improve production processes, and improve product quality; At the same time, DOTACO is constantly researching and creating new products to meet the increasing needs of customers, as well as expanding its consumer market to cover the Mekong Delta region and some eastern and central provinces.

The project is mainly sponsored by the Vietnam Roofing Association, the Vietnamese Heart Fund - Vietnam Television, FM Trading Company Limited and Dong Tam Joint Stock Company. This time, Dong Tam Joint Stock Company sponsored the construction of 03 new houses and the repair of 01 house with a total cost of nearly 600 million VND.
