Load-bearing capacity test for 16mm Uniboard Dotaco panels
When using Uniboard panels for flooring, a critical factor determining the durability and structural integrity of the project is the panel's load-bearing capacity.
This load-bearing capacity depends on both the thickness of the panel and the spacing between the steel box-section beams that form the supporting framework.
We invite you to watch a load-bearing test of a 16mm Uniboard panel. In this test, the steel box-section frame is set with a relatively wide spacing (1.22m x 1.3m), whereas in actual construction, these beams are typically spaced 0.45m to 0.5m apart.
The test demonstrates that a 16mm Uniboard panel, supported by a framework with wide spacing, can withstand a load of up to 750 kg (17 bags, each weighing 50 kg).
